Welcome!
The Federal Contractors Blog was created for companies and individuals who currently have contracts with the government as well as companies looking to get into the complex arena of government contracts. The content in this site is aimed at answering any and all questions you, the contractor, may have before, during and after winning a contract. Our step by step guide for federal contractors starts at the moment you think "Is this for me?" and takes you through to the end of any contract with the government.
Contracts with the federal government are complex. They require specific bonding, certification, and compliance standards. These include specific accounting and audit procedures, human resources compliance, DCAA standards, compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Federal Aquisitions Regulations (FAR), just to name a few.
